Elizabeth Arroyo was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. She learned Spanish watching novelas and was once in a boy band fan club, Menudo’s Muñecas, dancing to Súbete a Mi Moto in public (blame her older sisters for that one).
After completing a BA in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice, she worked in the community with young people who survived traumatic events. She’s also taught creative writing to young people and helped strengthen families.
When not writing or reading something with romance in it, she enjoys spending time with her family, binge watching her favorite shows, or just jamming to old school salsa, bachata or merengue.
