Sharon Marie Himsl loves adventure. Whether traveling through Malaysia on a jungle train, sailing in the San Juan Islands, or flying in an experimental airplane she helped her husband build, she has always taken the path less traveled. She has survived hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, Mt. Helens, and experienced sunsets that take your breath away. As a storyteller, she knows that facts are merely the foundation of a good story. Sharon is a published travel writer and an editor/writer of young adult nonfiction. Today she is working on her second novel at home in Eastern Washington, where she lives with her husband on the edge of a desert runway.
